Connaught Village is the Hyde Park Estate’s luxury retail quarter and home to an exclusive mix of independent retailers, award winning restaurants, sophisticated galleries and leading designers.
Scott, Client Services manager, visited the site along with Toni and Hannah from our Production department.
We were lucky enough to have a stall at the festival, allowing us to advertise and encourage residents of the estate to join the portal.
Some of the highlights included a Connaught Village children’s art competition and Hyde Park Vet’s dog show. Opening the festival was a marching brass band, followed by Roo Savill and closing with some opera from Alistair Sutherland.
If that wasn’t enough, there was: real flower crowns being made by The Flower Appreciation Society, the chance to have your silhouette portrait cut (which Toni took advantage of!) and also an adventurous treasure hunt, with instant prizes.
Senior Project Manager, Toni, had a great time at the festival, she said: “It was a great, there was so much to see and do. It was also really great to be involved with the Estate as we are a massive part of their online presence.
“Not only did a lot of people come up to the stall interested, but it made people realise how the portal can help improve their day-to-day life, plus I also got my silhouette portrait cut.”
It is not the first time Locale has attended the Connaught Summer Festival, and it certainly won’t be the last. See you next year!
