What’s a misconception about your position?
It's just sales. Sales is a big part in business development, but my role involves conducting market research, understanding our competitors and staying updated on the latest trends and news. I work on forming strategic partnerships which, in the long run, will result in sustainable growth.
What's an accomplishment you're really proud of?
Traveling solo around the world for three years. It challenged me to step outside my comfort zone, grow as a person, and it empowered me to explore the world independently. In turn, it led to increased self-confidence, resilience, and a broader perspective on life.
How would you spend 30 minutes of free time?
I love to make myself a cup of tea and then maybe FaceTime a friend to catch up with them!
Are you an early bird or a night owl?
Starting the day early allows me to set a positive tone and establish a structured routine for the day. Whenever I wake up early (I’d be lying if I said it was everyday!), I have much more productive and purposeful days.
What is your motto or personal mantra?
“Feel the fear but do it anyway.” Fear should not hold you back from pursuing your goals, dreams, or necessary tasks. Instead of letting fear paralyse me, I acknowledge it, but proceed with courage and determination.
