Tech equity in real estate: no building should be left behind
If we are to live in a truly equitable society then real estate, the crux of so many communities, needs to follow suit as does the technology that’s within them.
No building or community should be left behind when it comes to technology and therefore some of the common excuses such as cost, knowledge and accessibility should not be a barrier.
It’s not just tech that drives equity. We need to consider the climate, retrofitting and refurbing of real estate, investor attitudes, affordability and power of communication amongst many other factors that underpin the success of technology and ultimately real estate tech equity.
