Locale family of elves head to London to ring in the festive season

With the festive season in full swing, the Locale Group team came together and celebrated with an afternoon of food, drinks and a viewing of ELF! The Musical at the Dominion Theatre in London this month. 

With everybody in high spirits and fashioning their best Christmas jumpers, the afternoon was full of belly laughs, heart-felt speeches, prizes and secret Santa reveals. Employee of the Year was awarded to Portal Design extraordinaire, Rosie Moss, and Employee of the Quarter (Q4 2022) was awarded to Matt Shelbourne, Media Manager. Secret Santa gifts included bath bombs, travelling charging kits, a Turkey hat and various tipples to keep us all hydrated this month.

The commitment and loyalty amongst the team is testament to the values of honesty and integrity that underpin the business.

“While most of us are based in Oxford, many of our team work remotely full time across the UK and continental Europe, so it was great to have everybody together catching up and, for once, not just talking shop.

“It might sound like a cliché but Christmas genuinely is a reminder to take a step back, reflect and be thankful and I certainly am. A big thank you to the team for organising the day out and to everybody who came along – I couldn’t think of a better bunch of talented people to kick off the Christmas cheer.”
