Locale platform enables greener lifestyles at Manchester’s City Tower
Locale, the UK’s leading occupier experience platform, has been adopted in City Tower, Manchester, to foster its vision of a more sustainable community.
Locale has collaborated with the UK’s leading commercial property manager, MAPP, to streamline the building operations of City Tower, providing a central point for all users to access building information. Additionally, users can easily book amenities spaces, including meeting rooms and loading bays. Within the platform, occupiers can reserve one of the 130 bikes, lockers and two e-bike electrical charging points. Digital permits and forms will also be available to quickly solve issues such as lost property. Front-of-house teams will be able to manage visitors with greater control by having the ability to grant access on specific times and dates.
Alongside the Locale platform supporting operational management, it is also able to bring City Tower occupants together to engage with the wider community. Offers and promotions held by local shops, restaurants and bars are amplified on the platform via regular announcements. The City Tower team are also able to display the carbon footprint of each transport method to help occupiers make more sustainable travel choices before they leave.
City Tower is made up of existing workspaces which have been sustainably transformed into modern offices. It is also accessible links to the city via the metro, shuttle, bus and rail. The area also comprises of gardens, coffee shops, food outlets, gyms, Metro stores and frequent, local activities.
